DigiTool Shed's calculators run in your browser. Most tools need no account, no form submission, and no sensitive personal data to produce a result.
What we don't require
- No account to use any calculator.
- No form submission to get a basic result.
- No sensitive medical or financial verification.
What we do collect
- Usage analytics through Google Analytics — pages viewed, which tools get used, device and browser type, and approximate location — so we can see which tools are useful.
- Advertising data through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to show and measure ads (details below).
- Your light/dark theme choice, saved only in your own browser so the site remembers it.
Advertising and cookies
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google in Google Ads Settings, and from many other ad vendors at aboutads.info.
- Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculators still work without them.
- You can stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- DigiTool Shed isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
- If we add affiliate links in the future, the partner site may set its own cookies when you click through. Any such links will be labeled — see our affiliate disclosure.
We don't sell personal data, and calculator inputs (what you type into a fee calculator) stay in your browser — they're never sent to our servers. Questions about your data? Email David@DigiToolShed.com or use the contact page. If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
